Either I haven’t been watching enough (I don’t watch every day, and even when it’s on I’m not glued to the screen – which is what makes the sheer number of errors I have caught over the years so pitiful), or they’ve improved with the ugly new format they’re using… I always do wonder what possesses a producer to think “No – we’re not News Channel 8 any more – now we’re – (dramatic music) NEWS 8!”
*crickets*
However, probably not due to anything but meteorologist Geoff Fox’s fumblefingers, yesterday they did predict that it would be 777 degrees on Thursday. I will bypass the obvious joke about global warming to just say it could be worse – it could be 666.
