CPTV, this is neither kind nor fair

I told you I can’t afford another pledge, not even to get hold of tickets to the Red Hot Chilli Pipers.  I told you.  But did you listen?  Nooooo.  No, you had to air BLAST LIVE  AGAIN tonight.  I made it through what, four? airings this past weekend – but – my willpower is only so strong (that is: not very).  *hangs head* I am weak.

Weak in will – but strong in fangrrlishness.  I pledged.  That side mirror can just go on dangling.

“Your tickets to the Red Hot Chilli Pipers will be arriving two weeks prior to the concert, March 19, 2011 at the Warner Theatre in Torrington.  Enjoy the show!”

Aye.  I think I can do that.  *happy dance* (Hope to see you there, Gail!!)

  1. T, I’m so glad you’re coming and you’ll get good seats this early on; they actually do sell them on first come basis. I think PBS has big things in store for The Chilli’s, so it may well be the last time we get to see them for a while, live, anyway; they’ve visited the east coast and the mid-west, but the west coast has yet to get “bagrocked!” Come early and seek me out in the lobby or the merch table; maybe I can get you in for an exclusive interview before or after; maybe you can tie it in with Ed McGann’s show (?) ~G

Much as I’d miss the opportunity to see them live time after time – I would be overjoyed if they can storm the rest of the country. (They’re on CPTV AGAIN!! For what, the fourth day? This is a beautiful thing.)

I will definitely look for you before the show – I look forward to meeting you! An interview would be mind-blowing. (Possibly literally.)
